4. A Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer quickly to No 9 for the meaning of nothing.)

5. That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

6. Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot', which is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' - that will bring on No. 7).

7. Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying, "F-- YOU!"

8. Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to No. 4.

9. Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in "Fine".

The Alternative to ObamaCare?

With a projected $1.8 trillion deficit for 2009, several trillions more in deficits projected over the next decade, and with both Medicare and Social Security entitlement spending about to ratchet up several notches over the next 15 years as Baby Boomers become eligible for both, we are rapidly running out of other people's money. These deficits are simply not sustainable. They are either going to result in unprecedented new taxes and inflation, or they will bankrupt us.

While we clearly need health-care reform, the last thing our country needs is a massive new health-care entitlement that will create hundreds of billions of dollars of new unfunded deficits and move us much closer to a government takeover of our health-care system. Instead, we should be trying to achieve reforms by moving in the opposite direction—toward less government control and more individual empowerment. Here are eight reforms that would greatly lower the cost of health care for everyone:

• Remove the legal obstacles that slow the creation of high-deductible health insurance plans and health savings accounts (HSAs). The combination of high-deductible health insurance and HSAs is one solution that could solve many of our health-care problems. For example, Whole Foods Market pays 100% of the premiums for all our team members who work 30 hours or more per week (about 89% of all team members) for our high-deductible health-insurance plan. We also provide up to $1,800 per year in additional health-care dollars through deposits into employees' Personal Wellness Accounts to spend as they choose on their own health and wellness.

Money not spent in one year rolls over to the next and grows over time. Our team members therefore spend their own health-care dollars until the annual deductible is covered (about $2,500) and the insurance plan kicks in. This creates incentives to spend the first $2,500 more carefully. Our plan's costs are much lower than typical health insurance, while providing a very high degree of worker satisfaction.

• Equalize the tax laws so that employer-provided health insurance and individually owned health insurance have the same tax benefits. Now employer health insurance benefits are fully tax deductible, but individual health insurance is not. This is unfair.

• Repeal all state laws which prevent insurance companies from competing across state lines. We should all have the legal right to purchase health insurance from any insurance company in any state and we should be able use that insurance wherever we live. Health insurance should be portable.

• Repeal government mandates regarding what insurance companies must cover. These mandates have increased the cost of health insurance by billions of dollars. What is insured and what is not insured should be determined by individual customer preferences and not through special-interest lobbying.

• Enact tort reform to end the ruinous lawsuits that force doctors to pay insurance costs of hundreds of thousands of dollars per year. These costs are passed back to us through much higher prices for health care.

• Make costs transparent so that consumers understand what health-care treatments cost. How many people know the total cost of their last doctor's visit and how that total breaks down? What other goods or services do we buy without knowing how much they will cost us?

• Enact Medicare reform. We need to face up to the actuarial fact that Medicare is heading towards bankruptcy and enact reforms that create greater patient empowerment, choice and responsibility.

• Finally, revise tax forms to make it easier for individuals to make a voluntary, tax-deductible donation to help the millions of people who have no insurance and aren't covered by Medicare, Medicaid or the State Children's Health Insurance Program.

Many promoters of health-care reform believe that people have an intrinsic ethical right to health care—to equal access to doctors, medicines and hospitals. While all of us empathize with those who are sick, how can we say that all people have more of an intrinsic right to health care than they have to food or shelter?

Health care is a service that we all need, but just like food and shelter it is best provided through voluntary and mutually beneficial market exchanges. A careful reading of both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution will not reveal any intrinsic right to health care, food or shelter. That's because there isn't any. This "right" has never existed in America

Even in countries like Canada and the U.K., there is no intrinsic right to health care. Rather, citizens in these countries are told by government bureaucrats what health-care treatments they are eligible to receive and when they can receive them. All countries with socialized medicine ration health care by forcing their citizens to wait in lines to receive scarce treatments.

Although Canada has a population smaller than California, 830,000 Canadians are currently waiting to be admitted to a hospital or to get treatment, according to a report last month in Investor's Business Daily. In England, the waiting list is 1.8 million.

At Whole Foods we allow our team members to vote on what benefits they most want the company to fund. Our Canadian and British employees express their benefit preferences very clearly—they want supplemental health-care dollars that they can control and spend themselves without permission from their governments. Why would they want such additional health-care benefit dollars if they already have an "intrinsic right to health care"? The answer is clear—no such right truly exists in either Canada or the U.K.—or in any other country.

Rather than increase government spending and control, we need to address the root causes of poor health. This begins with the realization that every American adult is responsible for his or her own health.

Unfortunately many of our health-care problems are self-inflicted: two-thirds of Americans are now overweight and one-third are obese. Most of the diseases that kill us and account for about 70% of all health-care spending—heart disease, cancer, stroke, diabetes and obesity—are mostly preventable through proper diet, exercise, not smoking, minimal alcohol consumption and other healthy lifestyle choices.

Recent scientific and medical evidence shows that a diet consisting of foods that are plant-based, nutrient dense and low-fat will help prevent and often reverse most degenerative diseases that kill us and are expensive to treat. We should be able to live largely disease-free lives until we are well into our 90s and even past 100 years of age.

Health-care reform is very important. Whatever reforms are enacted it is essential that they be financially responsible, and that we have the freedom to choose doctors and the health-care services that best suit our own unique set of lifestyle choices. We are all responsible for our own lives and our own health. We should take that responsibility very seriously and use our freedom to make wise lifestyle choices that will protect our health. Doing so will enrich our lives and will help create a vibrant and sustainable American society.

This is when you suddenly become an expert on every subject in the known Universe, including but not limited to; solving world hunger, economic reform, civil war resolution on any continent, international terrorism and espionage containment. You know - you know everything and want to pass on your knowledge to anyone who will listen including parties with whom you have no affiliation. At this stage you are always RIGHT. And of course, the person you are talking to is very WRONG. This makes for an interesting argument when both parties are SMART.

STAGE 2 - GOOD LOOKING

This is when you realize that you are the BEST LOOKING person in the entire bar and that everyone is looking at you and only you. You can go up to a perfect stranger knowing they fancy you and really want to talk to you and probably are undressing you with their eyes. Bear in mind that you are still SMART, so you can talk to this person about any subject under the sun and still not be taken advantage of.

STAGE 3 - RICH
This is when you suddenly become the richest person in the world. Everything you ever wanted to own is now on your owned assets list. Your car collection has grown from a 1987 Honda Accord to 3 Ferrari's a Porche Boxter, 2 custom classics and a Harley Davidson softail that is number 13 of 20. You can buy drinks for the entire bar because you have an armored truck full of money parked behind the bar you have slept with Angelina Jolie, Jessica Alba and Catherine Zeta just last night and you expect a call from Jessica Simpson because she is no longer dating Tony Romo. You can also make bets at this stage, because of course, you are still SMART, so naturally you win all your bets. It doesn't matter how much you bet because you are RICH. You will also buy drinks for everyone that you fancy, because now you are the BEST LOOKING person in the world with nothing but options.

STAGE 4 - BULLETPROOF

You are now ready to sing like a rock star. You can Karaoke with Jon Bonjovi, Charlie Daniels or even as someone as complicated as Weird Al Yankovitch. No matter which song or which artist - your vocal prowess flows as smooth as silk. You now pick fights with anyone and everyone especially those with whom you have been betting or arguing or battling on the Karaoke floor. This is because nothing can hurt you. At this point you can also go up to the partners of the people who you fancy and challenge to a battle of wits or money. You have no fear of losing this battle because you are SMART, you are RICH and hell, you're BETTER LOOKING than they are anyway!

STAGE 5 - INVISIBLE & INVINCIBLE

This is the Final Stage of Drunkenness and the most fun for everyone that can't see you. At this point you can do anything because NO ONE CAN SEE YOU - not even God. You dance on a table to impress the people who you fancy because the rest of the people in the room cannot see you, including the husband of the girl you are trying to impress. You are also invisible to the person who wants to fight you and you will never fear being embarrassed should you do a complete nose dive and land directly on your grill. You can walk through the street after leaving the bar you are at while singing at the top of your lungs, slip and break an arm or other body part because you can't feel pain and no one can see or hear you. All of this and you are still the smartest, best looking, bulletproof, richest and most invincible person in the entire planet.

The Urban Dictionary defines “Bum’s Rush” as: “To be jostled or hustled to move you, or get rid of you, or get you to do something that someone wants you to do – that you don’t necessarily want to do.”

Now that we have everyone up to date on that portion of the lexicon most nearly associated with what the Congress is doing to Americans these days, let us now speak of ObamaCare the socialized medicine legislation the democrat/socialists are ramming through Congress and down the throats of the American people.

First I want to urge you to write, e-mail, fax, phone, or even send a telegram to your congressperson and senators demanding that they fight ObamaCare and vote no on any portion of the legislation that may come before them. Believe me, the dems are going to throw this legislation at the congresspersons and senators as fast as they can, in the dead of night if they can. In other words – they intend to do whatever it takes to get this ObamaCare legislation passed through the Congress, if it is humanly possible, by the end of July.

We warned you this was coming. Well, it is here. ObamaCare and Cap and Trade – both are coming up at Americans fast and furious – along with the full Senate’s consideration of the President’s nominee for the Supreme Court, Sonia Sotomayor. ALL of this is coming at the American electorate like the Bum’s Rush we spoke of above. Rest assured… more is on the way.

For now, though, lets focus on this “Healthcare Overhaul,” as the President likes to call what you and I refer to as… ObamaCare.Have you considered just how complicated a bill like the ObamaCare proposal would, of necessity, have to be? I mean, just think about it. Think of all the things a bill similar to ObamaCare would have to be. The intricacies of such an all-encompassing bill are staggering. It boggles the mind. Yet, the democrats want the Congress to vote on it, without ever having read it. Now, you and I both know that reading something, anything, and considering that same thing are two entirely different things. Why, reading one of your old healthcare insurance policies is so complicated you need an attorney by your side to interpret much, if not most, of it and the layman, unskilled in the law, is lost within a few paragraphs. And THAT, dear reader, is only a single Insurance policy for a single person, or, at most, a single family. There is just SO much to be considered!
I happen to be one of the millions of Americans cursed with a chronic disease, which rendered me “uninsurable.” Believe me, when I tell you, I know the value of having insurance. I also happen to be a former insurance salesman back in my misspent youth. So, my concern over the intricacies of ObamaCare is very real. For instance: I wonder if Obama Care cover diseases like Crohn’s Disease? Oh sure heart disease, diabetes, and such will be covered, but how about the little known, less “sexy” diseases such as the one I mentioned a sentence or two before this one. Will they be covered? And, who will make the decision(s) about what is covered and what is not?If your Chronic Disease is not covered by ObamaCare… What Then? That is just ONE of the questions nobody has answered, at least to my knowledge, YET, about the President’s new Healthcare Overhaul proposal… and there are so many more! What size bureaucracy are we talking about here – huge, maybe? How about humongous!? What about medical research and medical innovations? Up to now, the government has participated in medical research and development with taxpayer money as grants, etc, to development labs all over the country. But, one must ask, what happens when the government is insuring everyone and their primary concern has turned to holding the costs of that treatment down? All that R&D money will have dried up as it is sucked from the treasury by the costs of treatment. Of course, the really BIG fight is just now beginning to elbow its way to the forefront. That’s the fight over whether, or not, ObamaCare will cover the costs of abortion. This fight is bound to get down and dirty, and do so quickly, once the bell rings and the bout begins. Of course, they could always decide NOT TO DECIDE, at least for now, and revisit the issue at a more favorable time in the future, for one side or the other.

By now, you should be getting a glimpse of just how incredibly intricate devising a socialized medicine scheme is for America – a country which has not, until now, actually considered socialism as a form of government for ourselves. It is here that we must bring ourselves to understand that we will be replacing our “republican”(The US is a Representative Republic.) form of government with a “socialist” form of government.

In the meantime, Americans are being herded toward acceptance of this HUGE piece of a Socialistic boondoggle at near record-breaking speed. But, thank goodness for small favors. The Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announced Thursday (07-23-09) that there will be no vote on “ObamaCare”, in the US Senate, until AFTER the August recess.

The more Americans learn of ObamaCare the more they become convinced thy do not want it! That explains the “Bum’s Rush” we mentioned at the beginning of this commentary. Oscar Mayer Wienermobile loses control, crashes into home.

The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile got itself into quite a pickle when it crashed into a Racine home Friday morning.

Neighbors said that the Wienermobile took a wrong turn and ended up on the dead-end street, Kenilworth Avenue in Racine.

While trying to get turned around, the woman driving the hot dog on wheels accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake and lodged the Wienermobile under a house. Officials say no one was injured in the crash.

The Wienermobile was taken from the scene by tow truck. Know one knows the extent of damage to either the house or the giant hot dog but the good news is that the buns were still intact.

A miracle that repeats itself every day but with a different mix of greens, blues, reds and yellows. If those whose only aim is to hold the reins of power tight in hand, would look up and watch how Nature so generously shares this with all of us, without making any distinction and without asking anything in return, they would understand that she does this to let our soul taste moments of total freedom which we all need to make ourselves stronger and more understanding towards our next of kin.

An esteemed colleague of mine recently wrote this article and I felt it was worth passing on for those of us who are in the network marketing game.

"Game Changer"! How many times have you heard that recently? Right now many companies are taunting that they are going to change the game. None of them will. They need to make that statement because the way they have been doing it isn't working any longer.

Some companies believe their products are so different that it will change the game. They are using the same distribution method of traditional network marketing (everyone becomes their own customer and teach everyone to be their own customer) using a binary plan (which have proven over time to fail). Same game - new product story until the next new better vitamin, juice or nutritional super pill comes along. Other companies believe they have technology that will change the world with a new enhanced forced compensation plan. Technology that has not been proven going against multi-billion dollar players with a program you have to pay every month to get paid. It is OK everyone knows the majority of that money gets paid out to everybody else. That game has been around for a long time--nothing new. Others believe you can take products that have not done well, a compensation plan at best mediocre and put a big name in front of the company with a good story and that is going to change the game. Are you kidding? Sooner or later, the product has to stand out. Hold on - no it doesn't - the product doesn't matter. We are all following the leader, who will eventually say thank you and move on. History has proven that.

What all of these companies are saying is we can take the 1st, 2nd and 3rd base and we will make them round instead of square. Now it is not baseball, it is a better game than baseball. No, it is still baseball just with round bases instead of square.

All of these companies are attempting to change the game using the same model (with a new twist) that is no longer working. Each of them still believe that everyone should be their own customer, everyone should be a distributor and everyone needs their products. As long as everyone just buys their $150 a month, everyone will make money. How has that been working for you so far? As much as they say they are changing the game, you are still trying to convince people to use your new improved super duper mega power whatever. That is the same game. That is the "baseball". You change the shape of the bases any way you want, it is still "baseball".

Change is inevitable. You can either participate or watch it happen. Either way is OK but it will happen.

I do not believe that DubLi will change the game either. I DO believe that DubLi is aware and sees the changes occurring and as we speak are positioning themselves to be at the forefront of those changes. DubLi understands like any other business (except network marketing models) we need customers. DubLi does understand the revaluation of value that is occurring globally. DubLi is combining the most powerful distribution channel (the internet) with the most powerful marketing (social networking) to capture what is already occurring with or without DubLi thus providing each of us a tremendous opportunity to be at the forefront of the next evolution of business not revolution. It will be revolutionary in network marketing because it has not been done before.

Today we honor fathers for all the unique contributions they make to children, families and society.

We recognize and honor the dads who bandage their children's scrapes, attend their extracurricular activities, comfort them in times of turmoil and intercede to advocate on their sons' and daughters' behalf. They honor and support their wives and demand that their children do the same. They demonstrate courage when that strange noise comes from outside the confines of the home by getting out of bed and investigating the sounds of the night.

Dads admonish children to clean their rooms, turn off appliances that aren't in use, bring up grades and treat others with respect. They teach children to appreciate what they have and teach them the values of work ethic. The messages fathers convey aren't always the ones children want to hear, but are ones they often come to respect and admire as the years unfold.

Dads help their kids train for an event or complete a special project. Fathers read to them, share a board game or game of catch, take them on vacations and special outings. Dads may not know just what activity, or act of kindness, captures a child's imagination and remains forever in the recesses of her or his mind, to be recalled — even after that child is grown — as a particularly happy time. But the son or daughter knows and they seldom forget the vivid memories locked away in the recesses of their minds created by the influence of "dear old dad".

Sometimes it's the routine things a father does that resonate with their offspring. It might be the dedication or resourcefulness applied to a household project that becomes a learning moment for the child — without the father realizing it. It may be the consistency by which a father respectfully carries out the "honey do's" established between mom and dad. It may be dad's reputation among friends of being the guy who wants to help or contribute to friends and families in need. Maybe, it's that one time the kids are poking fun at the man standing on the corner panhandling for his next meal. That time dad raises his voice and says " we have to feel compassion for the hungry and hurting, kids"!

The journey of fatherhood brings lasting rewards for dad, too. What active father hasn't recalled the joys of holding a newborn or toddler in his arms, sharing a private joke with a son or daughter, or working together to realize a goal?

Fatherhood brings dedication, focus, longevity and love to the tasks of nurturing a successful family. The rewards last a lifetime and in many cases causes a irresponsible and dogmatic father to become responsible, reliable and focused.

Men who haven't experienced active fatherhood truly don't know what they're missing.

As a father of two amazing and beautiful children I am thankful to be the dad I am today. By God's grace I am better, stronger and greatly appreciate the heritage before me for what they instilled in me and as the result of their influence I am now leading as they once led me.

Is N.Korea really talking about nuclear war?

North Korea has nukes? It is reported that they have several at their disposal and with their inherent Napoleon complex, who knows what they’ll do with them.

To the dismay of the UN, an organisation whose primary backers have enough Nuclear weapons to destroy the universe 400 times over, North Korea yesterday carried out a powerful underground nuclear test, the second of it’s kind. The UN Security Council tonight unanimously condemned North Korea for whats is said was “clear violation” of a previous resolution.

A spokesperson for the Security Council said yesterday, “Britain, America, Russia, they can all have nukes, Pakistan, maybe India, Israel, they’re cool too, but we can’t just let every Tom, Dick and Harry defend themselves with world ending weapons. How would we control them? They will be able to do whatever they like.”

World leader have united in condemnation of North Korea actions. Gordon Brown said last night that Great Britain would do “everything in its power to starve the citizens of North Korea until its government agreed to do exactly as it is told,” while Barack Obama said in response to the tests, “There is no way we can let people this small have nuclear missiles. Their self-esteem is so low. One missed dose of Zoloft and we’ll all be living in a scene from Terminator: Salvation.”

PURPOSE......

Have you ever wondered what your purpose is in this life? I have! It seems as I get older that what I once believed was my sole purpose has suddenly changed. It seems as if this is a recurring theme with me. Almost as if I were a revolving door. I believe this is much of how life treats us. Whether you believe in God, a god, or no god - purpose is what seems to drive us as people. If we have no purpose we lack desire, ambition and motivation for this life. The real trick is determining your purpose and understanding and accepting the fact that it will change throughout various stages of your life.

Are you in that stage where providing for the children you have feels like your main focus? Think about this. We graduate from high school and in most cases start college but somewhere in the middle decide we are ready to settle down and start a family. We fail to follow our commitment to getting our education and decide to roll with our new found purpose - to settle down and marry and raise children. Once we commit to that it becomes our primary purpose in life. So many people jump into this so quickly and feel trapped. I believe this contributes to so many of today's divorces and ultimately to the broken families that fill America. I would caution young people to live their lives, truly know who they are and what their long term desire and goals are. Stick to whatever those are and don't sway from them. The point in all of this is that our descisions directly reflects what our purpose will become. Amazingly, I am just realizing this in my mid-thirties. I have no regrets and love the family and children I have been given. My revised purpose is rewarding and keeps me excited about life. I feel pride in my purpose today. Understanding what I do today I may have done it slightly differently but remain firm on the fact that I am very happy with where I have arrived in this life. I guess the point that I am making is that our purpose follows our life decisions and at the end of the day we have ultimate responsibility for where we are in this life. I am betting you thought this was going to be a "feel good" article that removes you from the responsibility of where your life is, today or where it is headed. Sorry! the cold, hard truth is that you are what you are! You are where you are and you are who you surround yourself with. MAKE DECISIONS THROUGHOUT YOUR LIFE THAT ALIGN YOU WITH WHAT YOU WANT YOUR PURPOSE TO BE.No matter where you are in life the decisions you are faced with and the decisions you make all lead to your future and purpose. You hold the keys and are responsible for where you are, where you are headed and where you end up in this life. Anything outside of that would just be excuses to absolve yourself from responsibility. One last thing to remember.

"Sow a thought - reap an action, sow an action - reap a decision, sow a decision - reap a lifestyle, sow a lifestyle - reap YOUR destiny"!

GOD WAS ON A BREAK

A man shouting that God would keep him safe was mauled to death by a lioness in the Kiev Zoo after he crept into an enclosure, a zoo official said Monday.

The man shouted "God will save me, if he exists",lowered himself by a rope into the enclosure, took his shoes off and went up to the lions, the official said.

A lioness went straight for him, knocked him down and severed his carotid artery.

The man died shortly thereafter.
